Periscope on Lifehacker; MinneDemo recap

Since I announced yesterday that Periscope was now compatible with GMail, there have been a *flurry* of registrations and many excited users trying Periscope out for the first time. I guess my hope that Periscope would reach more people through GMail is coming true! And then, as soon as I announced it, LifeHacker picked up on it and posted about it - which is great! Last night’s demo at MinneDemo went really well, I thought. Did you know that 7 minutes of demo time is not very much at all? I raced through as many features as I could (tons to show!) on Jon Dahl’s MacBook Pro but was not able to show the Windows Desktop Gadget nor the iPhone simulation. I think people got the general jist of it and was happy to read some nice comments on Twitter afterwards.
