Thanks to Tayyaba Khalil over at Rich Apps Consulting for describing Periscope as “a quick and convenient way to manage Basecamp accounts” — read the whole post on their blog. It’s always nice to hear the thoughts of users and reviewers since it encourages us to keep updating and to keep going at this, while also providing a reality check.
They were also careful to point out that Periscope does not let you add or edit comments, nor add or mark-off to-do items as complete. He writes:
However, one downside is that Periscope Gadget does not allow users to leave comments on an entry nor add/complete “to-do” items.
Hey man! The funtionality is not there, sure… but I’ve received numerous comments and requests for to-do lists to be in the gadget but this is the first for comments. I must admit, that hasn’t crossed my mind in the past, but now that you mention it, it sounds like something that might make sense. I’ll add it to the feature request list and see where it goes. Thanks!
